  Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10661, the National Children’s Month (NCM) or also known as the “Buwan ng mga Bata” in the Philippines is annually celebrated every November to commemorate the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) on 20 November 1989. It seeks to instill its significance in the Filipino consciousness and to sustain the promotion and protection of children’s right. National Children’s Month offers a special opportunity to show appreciation for, celebrate, and meet the needs of children, especially those who are trapped in a cycle of poverty. Whether advocating for the government, helping out with a children’s charity or volunteering locally, there are plenty of opportunities for making a difference on this day and all throughout the year!     September is National Clean Up Month by virtue of Proclamation No.  244 , while World Clean and Green Week is observed from September 17 to 23 every year. The thematic output will be “Let's Clean-Up and Blog!”. The Clean and Green campaign aims to protect and care for the environment by engaging the community in leading an environmentally conscious lifestyle. Natural phenomena can sometimes strike very hard and cause disasters if preventive measures have not been taken or if some human activities have harmed the natural environment or upset the balance of the ecosystem. In this connection, the learners will make a Photo Blog post depicting the active and important roles to play in making the community aware of the need for disaster prevention and encourage them to clean up, fix up, and conserve the environment.
